THE ISSUE:
We work mostly with small, grassroots organizations in Cartagena that run their programs on very limited resources. The majority of our partners maintain a minimal budget, use basic materials and often rely on one-off donations—which makes their work all the more notable and impressive. This all means that these projects often lack personnel to put together, find and apply to funding sources like grants, set up ways for individuals to donate, or demonstrate the impact and efficiency of their projects.
